Aurélien Delaunay is a gemologist, holder of a MSc in geology and a DUG from the University of Nantes (France). From 2011 to 2018, he was chief gemologist and head of the diamond department at the LFG. His research is focused on type IIa diamonds, natural, synthetic and treated. He has written many scientific articles mainly on diamonds but also on coloured stones.
Today, he is director of the LFG which aim goal is to be a leading actor in gemology delivering scientifically and precise gemological reports for the confidence of the consumer.
