Clemencia Plazas – SPEAKERS

Anthropologist from the Universidad de los Andes, studied metallurgical techniques at MIT, Boston and masters and doctorate in anthropology at CIDHEM, Mexico.
He worked for 33 years in the Gold Museum of the Bank of the Republic. Curator of the collections for 17 years and director, for 10 more years.
Author of numerous books and articles on the hydraulic management of the Zenú territory (with Ana María Falchetti) and the pre-Hispanic metallurgy of Colombia.
She has been a professor at the National University, Andes, Externado, Jorge Tadeo Lozano.
Currently, she teaches pre-Hispanic metallurgy from Colombia at the Materia Prima contemporary jewelry school in Bogotá.
