He is one of the main representative leaders of the emerald industry in Colombia. His role as head of Aprecol, organization which guilds the Colombian emerald producers, has been decisive to achieve competitiveness in the sector, as well as to encourage companies to implement better industrial and labor practices, with environmental and corporate social responsibility standards. He is expert in participatory strategic planning in programs and administrative control processes, with knowledge and experience as a Business Administrator with emphasis on foreign trade and marketing.
