VICE-MINISTER Carolina Rojas – KEY NOTE SPEAKER

Carolina Rojas Hayes is an economist from the Universidad de Los Andes with a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago. She has over 15 years of experience in the design and implementation of public policies in the energy mining sector and financing with multilateral banks.

As an experience in the public sector, Carolina Rojas was Vice President of Promotion and Development of the National Mining Agency from where she led the structuring and execution of the promotion strategy of the mining sector and the promotion of small and medium-scale mining. She was also Advisor to the Office of the Minister and Deputy Director of Financing with Multilateral Organizations and Governments of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit. Additionally, she was a professional in International Reserves of the Bank of the Republic.
